Business Address: 907 Victoria Rd, Ameliasburgh, ON K0K 1A0 Work Location: Various locations throughout Eastern Ontario Type of Employment: Full Time – Seasonal / 7-month contract Start Date: May 1st, 2023 Job Duties: • Assist with landscape constructions • Weed, prune and trim trees and plants • Cut grass • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials • Lay sod or seeds • Assist with the day to day operations in relation to the manufacturing, harvesting, sale and installation of Sod, Seed, Hydroseed and Fertilizer • Clean all equipment vehicles and tools used in day to day activities • Preparation of job sites Requirements -Education: No formal education is required -Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided. -Working conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Repetitive tasks, Walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling -Personal Suitability: Initiative, Client focus, Accurate, Judgment, Effective interpersonal skills, Team Player, Organized -Work Site Environment: Outdoors -Weight handling: Up to 30 kg -Language: Basic level of English is required Salary: $17.00-18.00 hourly, 50-58 hours per week. Benefits: Disability Insurance and Extended Medical Insurance, Group Insurance and Life Insurance benefits are provided. We provide transportation to and from job sites. Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate. Accommodation available at a cost.
