One of the busiest Japanese restaurants, Daidokoro Enterprises Ltd (dba. Murasaki Japanese Restaurant) located at beautiful Port Moody, BC is currently looking for qualified full time cooks. 1) Position: Cook (available 2) • Wage: $17.65/hour • Types: Full-time, Permanent • Working hours: 8 hours/day (40 hours/week) • Benefits: 4% of vacation pay of gross income per year, gratuities • Jobs open to Youth, Indigenous people, Veterans, Visible minorities, Newcomers to Canada, Older workers 2) Job requirements: • 1 ~ 2 years of cooking experience in relevant area or completion of program in cooking • Completion of High school • Language at work: English • Available to work: lunch, dinner and split shifts, and able to work weekend, maybe some overwork 3) Job duties: • Prepare and cook complete Japanese hot food dishes • Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies • Inspect kitchens and food service areas • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment • Clean kitchens and work areas 4) Work location: 254 Newport Drive, Port Moody, BC V3H 5B9 5) How to apply (email): murasakisushi777@gmail.com Only selected candidate will be contacted for further interview. | |
