Job Duties:

Provide advice about merchandise

Assist in display of merchandise

Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce

Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates

Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental or lease

Maintain sales records for inventory control

Prepare sales, rental or leasing contracts and accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment

Operate cash register

Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems



Requirements

Education: Completion of high school is required

Experience: At least 6 months of experience in the field is required

Driver’s license class 5 is required to perform test drives with customers

Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods

Personal suitability: Excellent written and oral communication, Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Team player, Organized

Language: English is required.

Salary: $20.00 hourly, 38 hours per week

Benefits: Transportation cost covered if worker needs to relocate. Disability benefits and vision care benefits. Long-term care insurance. Commission, Uniform Provided by employer, Free parking available, Learning/training paid by employer. Additionally, after 90 days of employment, the selected candidate will receive the following benefits: Dental and Health care plan, Life insurance, Group insurance benefits.

Important Information: Regular work schedule is 5 days per week. 4 days scheduled between Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and the 5th day on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The worker will have 2 days off: Sunday and 1 weekday of their choosing. Work on Saturdays and holidays is required. Overtime may be required based on the business needs
