Position: Tower Crane Operator (NOC 72500) Employer Name: Great Bear Construction Group Inc. Business Address: 23552 River Road, Maple Ridge, British Columbia, V2W 1B7 Canada Number of Position: 1 Terms of Employment: Full time/Permanent Wage: $47.50 per hour for 40 hours per week Location: Various sites across the Lower Mainland of BC. Language: English Requirements: • At least 5 years of experience operating a crane • Experience operating Tower Cranes such as Liebherr, Pecco, S.K. • Minimum of Tower crane operator B Ticket or ability to obtain one within 3 months of hiring • Ability to assess situations and identify potential hazards • Ability to problem solve and handle high stress situations in a professional manner • Staying alert and maintain a high level of concentration • Strong work ethic - accountability and punctuality • Capacity to remain calm and respond effectively using good judgement in a variety of situations • Ability to independently conduct daily crane inspections • Available to work flexible shifts at various job sites as needed Job Duties: • Move crane to and from job sites • Lifting, moving, positioning, and placing various equipment, materials, pre-fabricated forms, and other large objects with the crane. • Assess and conduct daily pre-operational machine safety inspections, routine crane maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating • Inform the management of any specific crane manufacturer maintenance needed • Understanding the crane's load chart, notes and warnings and be able to calculate or determine the crane's actual net capacity for all possible configurations of the machine • Complete all necessary pre-job paperwork as well as log book following the completion of the job How to Apply: Please submit current/ detailed resume showing how you meet the requirements to gbcgijobs@gmail.com or by mail to: 23552 River Road, Maple Ridge, British Columbia V2W 1B7 No recruiters or recruiting agencies please! | |
