Business Address: 311 Amber Street, Suite #1, Markham, ON L3R 3J7 Work Location: Same as above and various clients’ locations across Ontario Type of Employment: Full time - Permanent Anticipated Start Date As soon as possible Job Duties: Load, unload and transport construction materials Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades Mix, pour and spread materials Assist heavy equipment operators Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites Level earth to fine grade specifications Pave and rake asphalt Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites Requirements Education: Not required Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided. Working under various weather conditions. Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, Manual dexterity, Physically demanding, Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads Personal suitability: Dependability, Flexibility, Team player Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Dusty, Noisy, At heights Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Language: Basic level of English is required Salary: $22.00 hourly, 40 hours per week Benefits: Dental plan, Disability Benefits, Health care plan, Paramedical services coverage, Vision care benefits, Gasoline paid, Mileage paid, Work uniforms and tools provided by the employer, Learning/training paid by the employer, Transportation among work locations is provided by the employer, Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate, Accommodation available at a discounted rate. Important Information: The worker will work 8-hour shifts between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Flexibility on schedule is required as some days will start earlier and others finish later depending on the business needs and weather conditions. Work on weekends, occasional 8-hour night shifts, and overtime may be required. **We guarantee at least 30 hours of work per week regardless of the weather conditions.
