Now we are looking for a food and beverage server who are willing to become our valued team members! Employer: Bremer Canada Enterprises Ltd. (o/a Bella Coola Valley Inn) Position: 3 Full-time Food and Beverage Server Working Location: 441 Mackenzie Street, PO Box 949, Bella Coola, BC. V0T 1C0 Wage: $18.00 per hour and 4% of the gross income for paid vacation per year. Work Hours: 30~40 hours per week. Start date of Employment: ASAP Responsibilities - Present menu and provide detailed information when asked. - Greet and escort customers to their tables. - Inform customers about the day’s specials. - Take accurate food and drinks orders, using POS ordering software, order slips or by memorization. - Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff. - Serve food and drink orders. - Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area. - Deliver checks and collect bill payments. - Follow all relevant health department regulations. - Provide excellent customer service to guests. - Address customers’ complaints or concerns. - Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs. - Assist guests with special needs. Requirements - Education: secondary (high) school graduation certificate. - Completion of a one-or two-year apprenticeship program or college or vocational school courses would be an advantage - Will train - Experience an asset. - Ability to follow all sanitation procedures. - Good communication skills.
