Business Address: 13712 90A Street, Edmonton, AB T5E 3P1 Work Location: Same as above and various locations in Edmonton, AB Type of Employment: Full Time – Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: Load, unload and transport construction materials Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades Mix, pour and spread materials Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites Apply exterior building finishes Operate equipment or use hand tools to erect forms Requirements: Education: Not required. Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Overtime required, Work under pressure, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Work under different weather conditions Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, Flexibility, Reliability, Team player, Initiative, Accurate, Judgement, Organized, Dependability Work site environment: Indoors, Outdoors, Dusty, Hot, Cold, At heights Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Language: English is required. Salary: $20.00 per hour, 30 – 50 hours per week Benefits: Disability insurance, medical benefits. Transportation between work sites provided by the employer. Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate. Important information: Flexibility on schedule is required. The candidates will work between 8 to 10 hours per day starting at 8:00 AM. The work schedule will be on a rotational basis with two days off per week. Work on weekends and overtime may be required depending on the business needs, and extended working hours will be required during the summer.
