[Description]: Concrete K Contractors Ltd is a company providing professional servicesfor home projects. We are looking for full-time Cement Finishers who canwork with us on various projects. Employer: Concrete K Contractors Ltd. Job Title: Cement Finisher (NOC 73100) Vacancy: 2 [Job Duties]: -Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade -Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement -Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools -Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces -Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures -Cutting expansion joints with a power saw, aligning forms to desired depth and pitch, and directing the casting of concrete. -Produce various final finishes on concrete surfaces based on job-specific requirements, using rough/fine brooms or special groove rakes. -Waterproof, damp-proof and restore concrete surfaces. -Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate pouring concrete and move chute to direct concrete on forms. [Job Requirements]: -Education: Completion of secondary school is usually required. -Experience: Completion of a two- to four-year apprenticeship program OR over three years of work experience in the trade are required. Wage: $33.00 – $34.00 per hour and entitled to 4% of total wages as vacation pay.
