Position: Cashier Wage: CAD$16.75/hour Types: Full-time, Permanent (part time also available) Working hours: 30~40 hours/week Benefit: 4% of vacation pay Job Duties: • Operate cash register; • Scan items; • Tabulate total payment for goods or services; • Receive and process cash, cheques and credit/debit card payments; • Wrap or place merchandise in bags; • Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales; • Greet customers; • Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol or tobacco products; • Stock shelves and clean counter area. Job Requirements: • Education: not required; • Experience: not required; • On-the-job training provided.
