Moody Glazing Ltd. is looking for a Glazier to join its company. The right candidate must have: 1. Completion of High School 2. Six months construction experience, glazing experience an asset but not required 3. Team player Job duties: 1. Glazier is responsible for accurately measuring, cutting, and installing glass panels in windows, doors, skylights, storefronts, curtain walls, and other structures. 2. Read and follow precise specifications and use appropriate tools and techniques to ensure a proper fit. 3. Repair and replace damaged or broken glass in buildings and structures. This involves removing the damaged glass, preparing the area for new installation, and installing replacement glass while maintaining the structural integrity of the surrounding frame. 4. May need to fabricate glass by cutting, shaping, and edging it to fit specific design requirements. They may use cutting tools, grinders, and other equipment to achieve the desired shape and size of glass pieces. 5. Perform routine maintenance on glass installations, such as cleaning, polishing, and inspecting for any signs of damage or deterioration. 6. Must be able to read Architectural drawings and shop drawings 7. Glazier needs to perform an accurate layout of construction materials according to shop drawings. 8.
