Business address: 261 Mapleview Drive West, Barrie, ON L4N 9E8 Location of work: Same as above. Type of Employment: Full time – Permanent. Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job duties: Clean and maintain work space. Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas. Route goods to appropriate storage areas. Maintain inventory of stored material: Manage tires in storage to keep them up to date. Organize and maintain inventory. Perform miscellaneous labouring activities to help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed. Move tools, equipment and other materials Take tires to the technicians for revision/replacement Assemble equipment: shop tools and tyre carts. Requirements: -Education: No formal education is required. -Experience: Previous experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided. -Must take direction and abide by safety rules. -Driver’s License is an asset. -Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Standing for extended periods, Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment, Walking, Work under pressure, Overtime is required. -Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, Judgement, Reliability, Team player, Flexibility. -Work Site Environment: Cold/refrigerated, Confined spaces, Outdoors, Dusty, Wet/damp. -Weight Handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs). -Language: Basic level of English is required. Wage: $16.55 per hour. 42.5 - 48 hours per week. Benefits: Free parking available. Transportation costs covered if workers need to relocate. Important information: Work schedule is from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, from Monday to Friday. Flexibility for occasional Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM is required, Overtime is required depending on the business needs. 2 paid Healthy breaks of 15 minutes each and 1 unpaid lunch break of 60 minutes is provided.
