Job Title: Restaurant Manager (NOC 60030) Company Name: Mexicanadian Amigos Restaurants Inc dba Zapoteca Mexican Grill & Seafood Job Type: Full Time – permanent Job Location: 15495 Marine Dr, White Rock, BC V4B 1C9 How To Apply: Please send your resume and cover letter to jesse@zapoteca.com Job Duties: • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate restaurant operations. • Establish work schedules and procedures. • Manage and control inventory and purchases food and supplies. • Ensure restaurant service standards are met. • Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience. • Recruiting, training and supervising staff. • Coordinating daily restaurant management operations • Process payroll and service provider payments. • General office administration duties as required. • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies. • Maintain and evaluate food safety in all areas of the restaurant. • Assist morning prep team in kitchen with basic line replenishment if required. • Assume various roles as business needs dictate such as host, busser, bartender, server, dishwasher, receiver, shopper, line cook, prep cook. • Full availability including weekdays, weekends, mornings, evenings, and holidays. Terms of Employment: Permanent Full Time Language of Work: English Wages: $27 for 35-40 hours per week Educat Education: Completion of a college diploma is preferred. Knowledge of Mac and Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications and basic accounting principals. Certifications: Serving it Right and Food Safe Level 1 certificate. Valid class 5 driver’s license. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 23kg, climb stairs and work in a hot and or noisy environment. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Work Experience: • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the restaurant industry is required. • Strong customer service skills | |
