Job Description:



Assist the lead carpenters with any tasks required

Assist with loading and unloading of tools to site

Assist with unloading materials to site e.g. plywood, dimensional lumber

Use both hand tools and power tools to assist carpenters with demolition and building new structures.

Maintain a clean work environment by clearing waste material and sweeping site on a daily basis.

Measure and cut lumber according to carpenters specifications

Nail off brackets, clips and hangers for carpenters

Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas

Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites



Requirements:

Education: No formal education is required

Experience: A minimum of 7 months of experience in a related trade is required. On-the-job training will be provided.

Salary: $26.00 hourly, 40 hours per week.

Travel expenses paid by the employer if the worker needs to relocate.



Important Information: The employee will work 8 hours per day, between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM from Monday to Friday, depending on site. Overtime may be required depending on the business needs.
