DreamKids Childcare Ltd., located in Coquitlam, BC, is looking for a Full-Time Early Childhood Educator Supervisor(ECE) Candidates must have a passion for working with young children from ages 0- 5 years. Job Position: Early Childhood Educator Supervisor (ECE) Number of Openings: 1 Language at Work: English Job Duties: - Assess the children’s development in order to prepare a learning plan tailored to his needs. - Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children - Supervise staff, trainees or volunteers - Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest - Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts - Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits - Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor - Establish guidelines for behaviour - Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children - Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children - Supervise and co-ordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants Job Requirement: -Education: College/CEGEP -Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience -BC IT Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certificate is required -Criminal record check -First Aid Certificate/ CPR Certificate Term: Permanent, Full-Time (35-40 hours per week) Wage: $28.65/ hour Benefit: 10 days of paid vacation or 4% vacation pay Work Location: #207-1194 Lansdowne Drive, Coquitlam, BC, V3E 1J7 Please send us your resume by e-mail: recruit.dreamkids@gmail.com | |
