Employer: Hi-Tech Forming Ltd.
Position: Full-time Carpenter
Vacancies: 1

Main Duties:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweights steel and other materials.
- Fit and install trim items, such as windows, doors, stairs, moulding and hardware.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof system
- Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.
- Supervise apprentices and other construction workers.

Requirements:

Completion of secondary school
At least 2 years of experience related to carpentry

Wage: $22.00 ~ $31.00 per hour

Working Condition: 30-40 hours per week

Working Location: Abbotsford and neighboring areas
