Type of Employment: Full Time - Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: Load, unload and transport construction materials Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials Perform pre-operational inspection Read blueprints to determine work requirements Clean and lubricate cranes Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades Assist in demolishing buildings Clean and pile salvaged materials Perform routine maintenance work Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites Requirements Education: Not required Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided Working under various weather conditions Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Physically demanding, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Attention to detail, Hand-eye coordination. Personal suitability: Accurate, Dependability, Reliability, Hardworking. Work Site Environment: Dusty, Noisy, Outdoors, At heights. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Language: English is required. Salary: $30.00 hourly, 30 – 35 hours per week. Transportation among work locations provided by employer. Important Information: The regular work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.
