Address: 6989 Merit Ave, Burnaby BC V5J 4R7 Salary: $33.17 per hour Job Type: Permanent, Full Time 40 per week Vacation: 2 weeks Language: English Job Locations: 6989 Merit Ave, Burnaby BC V5J 4R7 No. of vacancy: 1 Start Date of Employment: As soon as possible Job Requirements: • Completion of a college program or course in bookkeeping, accounting or a related subject • Minimum 1 year of experience Job Description: • Implement efficient working processes to manage accounts payable and ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements. • Examine and verify the accuracy of routine payments, credits, and other transactions. • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on accounts payable data. • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in accounts payable operations. • Negotiate payment terms and resolve disputes. • Reconcile vendor accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records. • Review vendor statements and reconcile accounts. • Perform credit card reconciliation. • Monitor and manage the approved accounts payable budget. • Prepare and issue invoices for projects according to contract terms. • Develop and implement strategies for collecting overdue payments. • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports for projects and follow up on outstanding invoices.
