Squamish Samurai Sushi is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor for our two locations in beautiful Squamish, BC! Employer: Squamish Samurai Sushi (operated by Squamish Sushi Inc.) Position: Kitchen Supervisor Position Available: 1 Working Locations(multiple): • #120-1200 Hunter Place, Squamish, BC V8B 0G8 • 40254 Glenalder Place, Squamish, BC V8B 0G2 Employment Conditions: • Permanent, Full-time • Wage: $20.00~23.00 per hour (Depending on experience) • Working hours: 35~40 hours per week Job Duties: • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of employees in our kitchen. • Ensure that food and service meet quality and safety control standards – portion, temperature, presentation, order, work environment safety and cleanliness etc. • Prioritize and organize the tasks for smooth operations in the kitchen. • Make a schedule for the employees in the kitchen considering daily deployment plans and business trends. • Establish methods to meet work schedules. • Maintain records of stocking the items/small tools in the kitchen. • Train of new hired employees in our kitchen. Requirements: • Language: English • Education: Completion of high school • At least 1 year of work experience in food or restaurant service • Must be available to work at least one day on weekends.
