We are looking for an experienced Renovation Carpenter who would like to join our team. Employer: Factory Edge Construction Ltd. Position: Full-time Renovation Carpenter Vacancy: 2 Main Duties: -Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements. -Use various hand and power tools to securely build assigned project. -Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools. -Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweights steel and other materials. -Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding, and hardware. -Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures. -Supervise apprentices and other construction workers. Requirement: - Completion of secondary school is required. - Completion of a three-to four-year apprenticeship program OR over four years of work experience in construction field is required. Conditions: - Wage: $30.00 ~ $31.00/hour - Working Condition: 30 - 35 hours a week. - Benefit: 10 days or 4% from gross income for paid vacation per year. - Business Location: Unit 101 -1631 Comox St, Vancouver, BC, V6G 1P4 - Work Location: Various locations in the Lower Mainland.
