Job Title: Cabinetmaker Position Available: 2 Business Address: #2145, 950 Seaborne Ave, Port Coquitlam, BC, V3B 0R9 Work Location: Various locations within lower mainland, BC Working Criteria: Permanent, 30 hrs/week Salary: $24.00 per hour Vacation: 4% of gross salary or 10 days of paid vacation Main Duties: - Review plans, specifications, or drawings for the items to be created, or develop detailed specifications - Operate woodworking machines, such as (CNC machine, edge bander) power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers, and use hand tools to cut, shape and form parts and components - Utilize CADD software and other computer programs as needed - Trim and assemble joints, parts, and subassemblies to construct a complete unit using glue and clamps, reinforcing connections as necessary - Ensure a clean and safe working environment is maintained at all times Job Requirements: - Completion of secondary school is required - 2~3 years of related experience OR Completion of a 3-4 year apprenticeship program is required - English is required How to apply: Please submit your resume & work reference letters by email at boashiring@outlook.com Thank you for your interest in this position.
