If you want to be sure on how to measure current with Fluke 374 clamp meter, here are the steps -
Turn the dial that indicates that the measurement is coming from the jaw - the center dot in the display icon will flash on and off if the measured current is < 0.5 A, and for > 0.5 A, the center dot will be steady.
Before taking DC measurements, stabilize, then push the Zero button to get correct readings.
Before zeroing the meter, we must close the jaws and see jaws aren't inside it.
Work on the jaw release level, and place the conductor to measure in the opened jaw. At last, close the jaw and post the conductor utilizing alignment prints on the jaw.
The display will show the reading.
