Company operating name: Les Faux Bourgeois Location of work: 663 E 15th Avenue Vancouver, British Columbia V5T 2R6 Title of position: Kitchen Helpers – 2 positions Job duties: • Wash and peel vegetables and fruit • Wash work tables, cupboards and appliances • Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers • Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards and other storage areas • Sweep and mop floors, and perform other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff. • Assist in the daily food preparation process • Monitor and record kitchen refrigeration temperatures. • Maintain proper security protocols, checking doors, and making sure that bins and other storage devices are properly closed and locked. • Communicate with senior kitchen staff, on status of cleaning supplies, and dishwashing chemicals • Terms of employment: Temporary- 2-year contract. This is a full-time position at 35 hours per week. Benefits: one free meal per day Language of work- English Wages- $ 17.50/hr plus tips for 35 hours per week.
