Business Address: 160 Pears Ave., Unit 110, Toronto, ON M5R 3P8 Work location: Same as above and various suppliers’ locations throughout Toronto Type of Employment: Full Time - Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures Conduct performance reviews Cost products and services Organize and maintain inventory Ensure health and safety regulations are followed Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance Leading/instructing individuals Address customers’ complaints or concerns Provide customer service Recruit, train and supervise staff Drive for purchase of supplies Requirements Education: Completion of secondary school OR other programs related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is required. Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, is required. If the candidate does not have at least 3 years of experience, a post-secondary certificate related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is required. A valid driver’s license (Class G) is required. Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic cash register, MS Excel, MS Office, Point of sale system. Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Overtime required. Personal Suitability: Accurate, Client focus, Dependability, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral and written communication, Flexibility, Organized, Reliability, Team player. Ability to supervise: 5 – 10 people. Language: English is required. Salary: $22.00 hourly, 51 hours per week Benefits: Medical, group insurance, and life insurance benefits are provided. Dental and Sunlife insurance are provided by the employer. Vehicle provided by the employer for purchase of supplies. Uniforms, discount on meals, tips, gratuities. Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate. Important Information: Flexibility on schedule is required. The regular work schedule will be from Tuesday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; on Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
