Red LED lighting up on Roku Express and Express+
When your Roku device is not receiving enough power , it starts flashing. This is mainly caused when the device is plugged into power strip or surge protector. Once you identify the issue, plug your Roku device into wall outlet directly and verify if its working or not. If yes, try replacing a new power strip. Use the power adapter and power cord that were provided with the device itself.
When the device is over heating , you find the LED light solid. Immediately power off the device and let it cool down for a while . Later reboot the device. To stay out of this situation, make sure that the Roku Express is kept away from AVR receivers, routers and a set top boxes. Placing the player inside a cabinet or other enclosed spaces should also be avoided
