Through the ensuing years, as I worked in the field of Human Resources, I saw the kinds of resumes that people were sending in to apply for job openings. I was stunned by the lack of professional writing, the grammar errors, typos and format blunders. It was crazy. I just felt like I should call each job candidate and help them re-write their resume. Everyone deserves to know how to write a professional resume. It was so frustrating knowing that the books on the market couldn't really convey the information properly because they left the most essential element people truly needed to succeed. Those books didn't SHOW people how to create a resume step by step. All they did was TELL people what a resume should look like. | |
