The month of September is known for new, fresh life chapters, and also for honouring the harvest and the cycles of life. Join us for an afternoon of spoken word, sacred song and sound alchemy with Pamela Jane Gerrand as she shares the birth of her poetry book 'Wild Echo'. We will welcome the autumn equinox with ceremony and celebration, a weaving of words and good company, joy and gratitude. After a decade of writing, then the process of editing and going to print, Pamela is thrilled to be on tour to share her new poetry collection this autumn. Inspired by the works of Persian poets Rumi and Hafiz, and contemporary poets Mary Oliver and Maya Angelou, Gerrand’s poems are a soft place to land in a harsh world. Tender and triumphant, evocative and incandescent, her tone poems open the door of the heart to glimpse our own dark beauty. We meet the places where our brokenness reveals grace, and our wounds shimmer with wisdom and purification. Pamela is delighted to be hosting her Toronto book launch at The Yoga House, in collaboration with her beloved friend Celeste Shirley. Join us for this gathering of soul tribe, a celebration of cycles, seasons, words and music.  | |
