Job Title: COOK (NOC 63200) Employer: Pho Dinosaurs Vietnamese Restaurant Ltd. Job Location: 1102 Hwy 9 South, PO Box 2961, Drumheller, Alberta, Canada T0J 0Y0 Vacancy: One (1); Preference is given to Canadians, Permanent Residents, Youth, Newcomers or Indigenous people Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time, 35-40 Hours per week Employment conditions: Day, Morning, Evening, Shift-work, Weekend Job start date: As soon as possible Wage : $18.00/Hr ; overtime rate is $27.00/hr (plus 50% of regular rate) after 44 hours/week. Benefits: WCB coverage, free meals on duty Hours: 35- 40 Hours / Week ; 7-8 hrs/ day; 2 days-off per week Languages : English Education : Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 2 years to 3 years related work experience; experience in Vietnamese cuisine an asset Work Setting: Restaurant Security and Safety: Criminal Record check Transportation/Travel Information: Public Transportation not available TASKS: • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances • Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies • Inspect kitchens and food service areas • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food • Order supplies and equipment • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment • Clean kitchen and work areas • Manage kitchen operations Work Conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail; Fast-paced environment; Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding; Repetitive tasks; Standing for extended periods; Work under pressure Weight handling: up to 23 kgs (50 lbs) Personal suitability: client focus; dependability; Flexibility; Initiative; Judgement; Organized; Reliability; Team Player; Time Management How to apply : By email to: maivananhthi87@gmail.com | |
