Position: Accounting Technician Number of Positions: 1 Wage: $26.00–$27.00 per hour Work Hours: 40.00 hours per week (Full-time, Permanent) Vacation: 4% salary or 10 days paid vacation Benefit: Dental, Health, Disability Insuarance Work Location: YVR Finance Cluster (7551 Westminster Hwy, Richmond, BC V6X 1A3) Main Duties: Keep financial records and maintain various accounts using bookkeeping systems Control and maintain hotel float, manage float disbursement when necessary, and complete monthly float counts for employee held banks Prepare and reconcile accounts, cash receipts, tax returns and bills Co-ordinate with property events and sales teams to ensure accurate billing Perform other general administrative as assigned Requirements: Minimum 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience Completion of Secondary School is required Completion of a college program in accounting or bookkeeping in a strong asset Expertise with Excel and familiarity with accounting and management programs Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and under pressure Fluent in English How to apply: send your resume to mapleleafhr@hotmail.com Please respond with your resume attached, those qualified will be contacted.
