Flyash, also known as fly ash, is a coal combustion product that is composed of the particulates (fine particles of burned fuel) that are driven out of coal-fired boilers together with the flue gases. Flyash is an extremely fine powder consisting of spherical particles less than 50 microns in size. Fly ash is one of the construction industry's most commonly used pozzolans.
