If you are a hard-working, career-focused individual looking to build your skillset, we would love to meet you Employer: K-Green Plumbing & Heating Position: Full-time Plumber Vacancy: 2 Duties: -Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems -Install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems -Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors -Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings -Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines -Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment -Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges -May prepare cost estimates. Requirement: - Completion of secondary school is usually required - High school, college or industry courses in plumbing would be an asset - 5 years of work experience(apprenticeship) as a Plumber in the trade is usually required - Require a portfolio regarding experience or work as a plumber that has been done while experiencing as a Plumber. Conditions: Wage: $31.25 ~ $32.50/hour Working Condition: 30 - 40 hours a week. Benefit: 10 days or 4% of gross income for paid vacation per year. Business Location: 1287 White Pine PL.
